Illuminating Light's text messaging program sends updates about campaigns, workshops, newsletters, and community resources to people who have opted in. Message content may include donation appeals, event reminders, and general nonprofit updates.
You may opt in by submitting your phone number and checking the SMS consent box on our website's signup forms, or by texting a keyword we publish to our program number. By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Illuminating Light at the phone number provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or donation.
Message frequency varies based on our campaign and workshop schedule. You can expect to receive approximately 1-4 messages per month, though this may vary.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Illuminating Light is not responsible for any charges from your wireless carrier related to text messages you send or receive from our program.
You can cancel this SMS service at any time by texting "STOP" to the number you received messages from. After you send "STOP," we will send you a confirmation message, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you'd like to rejoin, sign up again through our website.
